Whimsy Dahlia for a Little Girl . . .

Well, I suppose this is a continuation from my first post today.  Oh my goodness, I normally don't post twice in one day!  Anyway, remember the Christmas card I made as a donation to give to Teri?  I decided to make a little something for her!  Teri's {HEART} is so BIG!  She just gives off herself without asking for anything in return.  I actually wanted to wait to post this, but wanted to enter some challenges with it!  Sorry Teri for the not-so-surprise surprise :(

You wouldn't believe it if I told ya . . . I had the Zutter Bind-It-All under my bed for months and months.  I hadn't even opened the box until last night!  YIKES!  Dust collector!  Thought I'd give the binding thing a try.  What do you think?  I hope Teri enjoys Whimsy Dahlia . . . I almost didn't want to give her up, but I know she must go {boo-hoo . . . crying my eyes out!}

Ok, she's up for some challenges:

Anyone for Anya? - Sketch #4

~ La La Land Weekly Wednesday Challenge #15 - Buttons, Buttons, Buttons!

~ Cute Card Thursday #89 - Swirly Girly

Ingredients?
Bo Bunny DP, CS, 2 pieces of 4x4 chipboard, Zutter Bind-It-All, Dahlia stamp, nesties, border punch, buttons, stickles, BLING, ribbon, string/thread, flowers, & copics.

I'll be JOURNEYING to the post office first thing tomorrow morning!  Until tomorrow . . .

Christmas Card Exchange for a good cause!

Teri, over at big Ideas From A Little Girl, had a special offer for those that had visited her site and commented on a particular post.  She offered to send a sheet of this 3M craft paper in exchange for a Christmas card.  The card will be donated to the Women's Transitional Center (for women & children).  What a great idea!  We are so blessed to be able to see our family and spend time together . . . however, these women don't get to see their children everyday.  So, here's the one that I'm donating . . .

I took a closeup picture here & I hope you can see it.  Just got my Cuttlebug Embossing Winter Borders.  I had to try them out.

I used my circle scallop nesties for the inside of the card.  A message can be written there.

Whether the JOURNEY to transitioning is long or short for the women, may they have a special Christmas with their children & their family!
