A Virtual Party Favor & More Treat Bags . . .

Hey all!  I just wanted to share a favor I received from Joy of The Joy of Crafting.  She recently celebrated her 1 year Blogaversary and invited us to her Virtual Party!  What do you know?  All the Virtual Party players received a favor from her and this is what I got in the mail!

Super cute yeah her French Fry Box Owl!  Let me tell you, all the candies are nearly gone (shared them with the "boss")!  Joy's so sweet ~ she added a clear stamp, Christmas sticky notes, and a gift card.  Thanks Joy and congrats on your Blogaversary again!

Here are some treat bags I put together.  I made a total of 6.  Click {HERE} for a tutorial on how to make a Box in a Bag.  I just altered the dimensions and added ribbon for handles.

My hubby asked me to make treat bags for the secretaries at the Fire Bureau.  If I didn't mention it before, he got promoted a couple of months ago and is now working at the the Headquarters in the Fire Prevention section.  He no longer is at the fire station, but hopes to get back to driving the firetruck in about a year. 

That's it . . . I'll be back tomorrow to share my last project for La-La Land Crafts before I take a maternity leave!

CANDIES that came my way & very thankful!

I'm a bit late in posting these . . . just been busy with LIFE & my daughter has been sick since Saturday.  She's had a low grade fever even till today.  I'm not sure what's going on and why the fever is not breaking, but I will be taking her to the doctor tomorrow if the fever has not subsided. 

Jenny V. of Jenny's Creations had celebrated her birthday and 1 year Blogaversary last month and I was very fortunate to have received Jenny's CANDY!  :)  Boy was that chex mix yummy . . . almost gone!  I was so excited about the package that I forgot to take a picture so this picture shown here was taken by Jenny V. on her blog (hope that's ok Jenny!) ;)

Jenny S. of Crazy for Paper Crafts also had her 1 year Blogaversary too!   And what do you know?  I was lucky enough to win this amazing wallhanging calendar!  Just for me!  :)  YIPPY!!!  She personalized it with my favorite colors and with the GG's that I asked for.  Isn't this just stunning?  So much luv and effort went into making this.  Click {HERE} to see the whole view on Jenny's blog - - -front view of both sides and pictures of each panel up close!  My picture doesn't do her amazing piece justice.

Here's the goodies that came with the calendar.  Awww, Jenny's so sweet . . . she made this birthday card too!  Oh before I forget, the TGF stamp from the Hope & Grace series, Peace, is from Island Scrapbooking on the Big Island.  They, too, were giving away some CANDY for their 1 year blogaversary.  Jenny was kind enough to pick it up for me and mailed everything in one shipment. 

Do you notice a theme here?  Jenny and Jenny . . . 1 year blogaversary . . . Jenny S. and Island Scrapbooking in Hilo?  :)  I'm thankful!

Just what the doctor prescribed - Another Sweet RAK!

Boy, the Lord really wants me to get better!  I received a sweet RAK yesterday from Joni over at Crafty Hula Hands!   You have to check her blog out - - she really does have crafty hula hands!  Like I mentioned before, I was feelin' a bit under-the-weather, but not any more!  I'M DEFINITELY CURED!!!! :)  Joni's RAK put my illness back in its hole! 

Joni made everything in PINK & BROWN . . . my most favorite-est color in the whole wide world!  Is that a word in the dictionary or what?  From left to right:  Joni made a card, a accordian card holder, and a magnet calendar using a coaster.  The calendar goes perfectly at my second work station, in my bedroom.  (Shirley's stationery calendar set is at my first work station, the living room.)

 

Here is what the accordian card holder looks like on the inside.

 

There 4 cards, all coordinating in pinks & browns, were inserted into the card holder.  So cute yeah!  :)  All I have to say is . . . WOW!

Am I Dreaming? RAK from Shirley!

The title says it all!  I must be dreaming!  Shirley, over at Stampin for the Fun of It, sent me her amazing creation!  She does some of the most detailed work and I am a forever a fan!   Please click your mouse & go visit Shirley's blog!  You won't be disappointed!

She had made a few of these Stationery Calendar Set & put one of them up for a Blog Candy.  Boy, when I saw her 3D project, I fell in LUV with it!  I just LUV 3D anything!  So, when Shirley was giving one away as a Blog Candy, I made sure I was right there in the comments section.  Amy, over at A thousand sheets of paper, won the candy yesterday!  Congrats Amy!  She is one talented lady!  I suggest you check out her blog people!

Anyway, I haven't been feeling that great for the past couple of days, but still able to check out everyone's blogs and do some emails.  But, when I received this in the mail and saw that Shirley sent me something, I couldn't wait to open the package.  OMGosh!  I did flips and cartwheels!  :)  I was feelin' just great!  This set is gorgeous in real life and I luv everything about it!  

Geez, Shirley sent more stuff!  In the package there were a bag full of flowers, BLING, and a LOVE clear stamp.   Perfect for Valentines and for 1LuvnMama!

RAK from a SWEETIE!

I was so surprised to get this in the mail yesterday . . .

It's from a SWEETIE ~ Brenda over at Sweet As A Gumdrop!  I was surprised and caught myself chuckling.  :)  You have to check out her creations because Brenda can whip up anything with a punch.  LITERALLY!  She had posted her latest punch art and made a panda.  Jokingly, I tossed out the idea of making some baby pandas.  Well, somtimes when you ask for something, sometimes you receive it!  Boy, did Brenda punch it out!  She made a family of 4 to go with this address book! 

So adorable . . . I will treasure this SWEETIE!!  Thanks so much for thinking of me and making my day!!!  :)  Let's see where your JOURNEY will take you next?  Maybe making Cupid for Valentines Day?  {Clicking my heels like Dorothy!}
