On to my last card for the Birthday Bash. I used Snorkel Sherman & created a Wiper Card minus the wiper. Here's a tutorial that I used, click {HERE}. I colored him with my copics and added white Fun Flock on his belly and inner ears. If you look closely, Snorkel Sherman is literally swimming under the sea! Here's what I did . . .
Instead of using hair gel like I've seen on some tutorials, I used straight up, WATER! I added some light blue dew drops (added more dew drops after this picture was taken) & some glitter.
Here is a close up. The sealed bag filled with water was place in front of the image. A frame was created using my nesties. I also cut out some of the items printed in the DP and popped them up on pop dots for more dimension.

ReplyDeleteOh wow! Such a creative card. It is wonderful .......... when first looking at the card I thought it was great and loved the dark blue ribbon and blue framing, but then to read and discover you used "real" water, how amazing.
ReplyDeleteOMGoodness this is so cute!! I've always wanted to do a gel card, but didn't want to bother buying gel! Now why didn't I think to just use water?! Also love the addition of the dew drops inside and that paper is the perfect match!
