June OCS . . . Did I say JUNE?

Yes, I did say JUNE!   I having been participating in a One Card Swap formally headed by Teri, but now headed up by Linda & Kyoko.  If you want to participate in the August OCS, visit Linda's blog for the deets.

My partner for June was Kim Yu of Kimbee's Creations.  She sent me not one, but 2 cards.  One was a Thank You and the other was her OCS card.  I just luv them both!

Here's the Thank You card . . .

Now, here is Kim's OCS card.  It's an easel card with a pocket.  She is so creative and I luv, luv her use of colors & embellishments!  :)  Kim added some stamped Magnolia images for me in the pocket!

Check this out . . . not only did Kim send me her wonderful handmade cards, she crocheted these gorgeous flowers!  How can I ever use them . . . so pretty!  :)

Oh boy . . . now for the slap on the hand!  There's no excuse for my tardiness and I apologized like crazy!  Thanks Kim for being so understanding after sending my June, yes, June OCS card so late.  I had to make this X-TRA special . . . Kim is such a sweetheart with a giving spirit!  Here is the card I made for her using Creepy Crew - Wednesday.  She can be purchased at my friend's online store, Tamiko's.  Go check it out!

It's a T-Slide card that has been popping up on the blog scene.  Here's a tutorial on Splitcoaststampers, just click {HERE}.   I have the tab pulled part way in this photo.  The sentiment is hidden behind the flap/image.

This is what the pull tab exposes . . . the hidden sentiment.

I know Kim will enjoy this because I had so much fun making it.  And I had to play with this card a few times to try it out.  I literally had to stop myself from pulling the tab in and out . . . there was a fear that I would ruin it!

I've enjoyed playing in the OCS, but I do realize that my time is limited, especially since #3 is on his way in about 3 months.  I'm taking a break from the OCS for now since I have been battling major exhaustion with this pregnancy and crafting has somewhat taken a "backseat".  Thankfully, my Design Team responsibilities help me to stay "crafty" when I really don't feel like it.  A HUGE thanks to you for sticking with me in the past months.  I know I haven't posted nearly as much as I used to, but as Arnold Schwarzenegger says . . . I'LL BE BACK!!!  :)
